- Description of the defect with as precise a description of the issue as possible
- Product details (e.g., model, serial number)
- If applicable, photos or videos documenting the defect
- For a return: the RMA/case number, if assigned by the retailer
Additional documents may be required depending on the provider. However, proof of purchase is almost always the most important requirement for reviewing a warranty claim.
